What are the benefits?
Worn tubes may have a direct impact on the cooling effect of chillers. In more serious cases, losses may be incurred if components become rusty or motors get burned. In Hong Kong, for example, we recommend that condenser tubes should be inspected and tested every year to ensure that tubes are in normal conditions, to save maintenance costs and avoid unnecessary replacement of tubes as well as to prevent unexpected failure of chillers and the contamination of a refrigerant system.
